Below you will find some helpful details about your trip to the tree farm, when to come by, as well as some of our other fun offerings! See you out there!
Location:
Our tree fields are located down a dirt road at our small family farm at 523 Mason Rd. in Milford, NH. Your GPS should bring you to the right place! Once you arrive at the main house, just follow the dirt road back about a ¼ mile until you see signs for parking!
Date/Time:
We will be open and out in the field Friday and Saturday (Nov. 27th and 28th) from 9am until dark. After opening weekend, we will be open Mon.-Fri. by appointment. And Saturdays in the field until we sell out! Watch our FB for updates! We are closed on Sundays.
Prices:
This year we will have Cut-your-own Balsam Firs, as well as a selection of NH pre-cut Fraser Firs. All trees, big or small, are $85. Our typical range for adult trees is about 6-9 ft.
What to expect:
It’s a busy day and full of fun! Once you’ve squeezed into a parking space and found the missing mitten or boot, wrangled the leash on the doggie, or released an excited “eeeeeeee”, take a walk up to our pavilion to borrow a saw and ask any questions you’d like. Any tree in our 7 fields is available to you. You will find that some are drastically smaller or larger than others in some fields. That’s because someone bought a tree there in past years and we’ve replanted! Totally normal! And… fun fact: Did you know that it takes 7-10 years to grow a Christmas tree?! Woah!
Once you’ve picked the strongest and bravest (or at least most willing) of the bunch to cut down the tree you’ve carefully selected, come grab some free hot cocoa or hot cider, buy some maple goodies made by Joy, and join us by the fire to warm up! We will also be running tractor pulled wagon rides down to field 7 and back, where we have lots of beautiful trees ready for this year! So, feel free to hop on just for fun or to hitch a ride there and back without having to pull your tree up the hill (SCORE!).
